Piggyback Project – Anatomy of a Seagull
Anatomy of a Seagull, adapted from Anton Chekov by Jason Byrne with Caitríona Ní Mhurchú. A girl lives all her life on the shore of a lake. She loves the lake, like a seagull, and she’s happy and free, like a seagull. But a man arrives by chance, and when he sees her, he destroys her, out of sheer boredom. A forensic examination of death by a thousand cuts, based on the classic play by Anton Chekov. Presented along with ‘Jesus Has My Mom In There And Has Beat Her Up Real Bad’ as part of Loose Canon’s Piggyback Project at the 2009 Absolut Dublin Fringe Festival.
